Your safety is our top priority. You’ll find hand sanitiser stations throughout the club, social distancing floor markings and a brand new air purification system, all designed to reassure members of a safe return – watch our video below.

Member Charter - What we commit to you

We have spent a lot of time planning how we can keep our club as safe as possible. Below you will find a summary of what we have put into place, but if you’d like to read more, our full Member Charter can be found here.

 

Our teams will be on hand to help to clean and disinfect all areas of the club. Signage will help with the flow of people and will help us adhere to social distancing. Each studio has been marked out to ensure every person has their own dedicated space in a class and the timetable has been designed to allow enough time between classes for adequate cleaning. We have recently launched The Thames Club Online, which is free to all members, to enable you to choose a class or workout to do from home either on demand or live! Equipment in the gym is spaced out and we have created new training zones outside and in The Thames Suite. The pool is open, and so are the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Please pay particular attention to social distancing in the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam, and during family swim times. In order to manage social distancing, we ask that swimmers and Hot Yoga Club users have priority in the changing rooms. Hair dryers and straighteners must not be used due to hot air flow. Finally, air conditioning is set to guidelines and is specific to each room, we ask that it is not altered in any way.

We ask that you support us by adhering to the procedures that we’ve put in place in order for us to keep compliant and to be as safe as possible.

 

If you, or anyone you live with or have been in contact with has COVID-19 symptoms we ask that you do not come to the club. If you or anyone you live with has been tested positive for COVID-19 please do not come to club and please let us know immediately by emailing enquiries@thethamesclub.co.uk or calling us on 01784463100.

We also strongly suggest that all visitors to the club download the NHS Covid app and scan the QR code at reception.

Please wash your hands thoroughly as often as possible and use santiser provided.  Our teams are here to help, please support us by cleaning all equipment and training areas before and after use. Please book all visits to help us keep under capacity in each area. Please be courteous to other members and only book one class per day. There will be a £5 late cancellation fee if cancellation is within two hours of the booking or a £5 no-show fee if your attendance is not logged. Please try not to arrive early as there is limited space to wait – if you are early please wait in the lounge.
