With an active childhood leading onto a background in athletics and martial arts training, it was a natural progression for me to begin my journey as a Personal Trainer. I’m qualified to help adults of all age groups, but my specialties are exercise referral for clients with specific controlled conditions (also known as GP referral), exercise for older adults and falls prevention for older adults. So if you have a medical condition (that is under control) and/or you want to keep your quality of life as you get older, I can provide training for you that is effective & safe.

I have been a personal trainer working with a range of different clients from athletes to post surgery for nine years. I have also been a holistic massage therapist for nine years to improve the recovery and wellbeing of my clients. I have worked with all sorts of people from stroke patients and type 2 diabetes, right through to competitive athletes. I have gained vast experience and I have also trained in holistic massage, to understand every facet of human injury, dysfunction through to rehabilitation and performance.

Through many years training and competing in many different disciplines and sports, I have gathered a vast knowledge of training. This allows me to read a person’s body and get them to achieve the bests results that they can. Also, being trained by Terry Philips (9 times Mr Universe and 7 times World) for 3 years to get me from 13 stone to around 20 stone of muscle taught me anything is achievable as long as you truly want it and eat and train very hard.

I have been competing in sport for 16 years (athletics & boxing) and I have been working in the fitness industry for the past 5 years.  This experience has allowed me to be lucky enough to see a variety of clients run their first ever 5k, compete overseas representing our country in boxing.  As a big mental health advocate my specialism is helping my clients to plan every meal and workout in order to achieve their goals which can bring about so much confidence in other areas of life.

I am very competitive when it comes to sports. I exercise in the gym 3-4 times a week and teach Les Mills GRIT 3 times a week. I also play football once a week. I have been in the fitness industry for 11 years and with all these years I have developed my skills in different ways in exercise and nutrition. When I coach my clients, I make sure they work hard and the most important thing is being positive! Without a positive mind, you can achieve anything!

I started as a Personal Trainer through my own personal weight loss. I lost a total of 6 stone in 6 months and this has helped inspired me to help and train my clients in achieving their own weight loss goals. I have competed in Junior Great Britain Rowing Trials, Henley Royal Regatta, Tough Mudder, Triathlons and Half Marathons. I create a tailor-made training and nutrition plan for every client and promise my full support the whole way through your journey.

I like nothing better than seeing my clients reach and maintaining their goals. Alongside working at The Thames Club as a Personal Trainer, I also run my own fitness classes and group training.  All of my sessions are fun and designed for all ages.
